SOFTWARE ENGINEER I

Polatin Corporation is a small, innovative company located near Utica, New York. We are seeking a B.S. or M.S. software engineer, computer scientist or other qualified technical major for an entry-level position in GIS/database applications and simulation software development.

Requirements: Candidates must have entry-level software development experience in C++ and/or Java and good organizational and analytical capabilities; some familiarity with database development or GIS applications would be helpful. In addition, applicants should posess solid mathematical skills as evidenced by good grades in math coursework and/or relevant experience. This position has excellent potential for advancement along both technical and/or business career paths.

RESEARCH ENGINEER / SCIENTIST

Polatin Corporation is seeking a qualified physicist or electrical engineer for a challenging position in physics-based, modeling and simulation software development.

Requirements: Candidates must have a solid background in physics-based modeling and mathematics; and familiarity with electromagnetics or signal processing applications would be useful. Also required is a good level of experience in programming C++ applications, and simulator design experience would be a plus. An entry-level Ph.D. or an M.S. with several years relevant experience would be acceptable.
